TransLattice and OpenSCG Partner

TransLattice and OpenSCG today announced a partnership to deliver an enhanced user experience for customers looking to deploy new data-intensive initiatives.

This partnership will provide a simplified option for transitioning from legacy systems, integrating current and new applications and deploying new data initiatives in commercial and open source environments:

  • The database challenge: From daily operations to strategic business objectives, at the core of almost every enterprise application lies a database, the engine that drives today’s businesses. Organizations are facing significant challenges as they look to more agile solutions on the market today.
  • Services and open source technologies: OpenSCG provides services for PostgreSQL, Oracle and SQL Server databases, as well as for Cassandra and MongoDB databases. Its services include the installation and upgrade of new software, fine-tuning of existing systems and migration from legacy systems.
  • Battle-tested expertise: Customers will gain access to world-class installation, migration and integration services leveraging the best of open source technologies. Those with requirements outside of the regular PostgreSQL envelope will appreciate the benefits of Postgres-XL (postgres-xl.org), which offers Massive Parallel Processing (MPP) and Big Data analytics capabilities. In addition, customers deploying TransLattice’s geo-distributed database, TransLattice Elastic Database (TED), will also have access to services provided by OpenSCG.
