Boston Limited Introduces New 2U VMware Optimized EVO: RAIL Offering 

Boston Limited is proud to announce it’s latest series of high-performance, high-density solutions converging an optimal balance of Compute, Memory, Storage and Networking into building block systems certified with VMware as an EVO: RAIL Solution.

Harnessing Supermicro’s latest 2U TwinPro2 server with hot-swap Titanium Level, High Efficiency (96%+) Digital Power Supplies in a high-density 4-node, dual processor server appliance, Boston are in prime position to service and support customers migrating or deploying new VMware infrastructure.

EVO: RAIL from VMware combines compute, memory, storage & networking into a hyper-converged infrastructure appliance to create a simple, easy to deploy, all-in-one solution allowing administrators to go from initial power-up to virtual machine creation in minutes via their user interface, traditionally these steps would take hours if not days.
