Nimble Storage Joins Hortonworks Technology Partner Program
Nimble Storage today announced that it has attained Hortonworks certification and joined the Hortonworks Technology Partner program. Hortonworks is the leading contributor to and provider of Apache Hadoop. The Nimble Storage Adaptive Flash platform enables enterprises to fully leverage Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) implementations to streamline workflows, increase performance by utilizing flash and implement enhanced data protection using sophisticated snapshots -- all while lowering total cost of ownership and eliminating complexities associated with enterprise architectures.
As a certified Hortonworks Technology Partner, Nimble Storage will enable and accelerate the deployment of all data living in traditional Hadoop environments. Nimble streamlines analytics workflows by eliminating the need to extract the data from separate storage systems so that it can be loaded into a traditional Hadoop environment. With Nimble, IT personnel are no longer burdened with managing data that has already been integrated and analyzed with the Hortonworks Data Platform.
