HP Expands ConvergedSystem Lineup, Adds OneView Management
HP today announced new converged systems and new HP OneView innovations to help customers quickly adapt to market and customer needs and refocus investments in innovation. The new HP ConvergedSystem portfolio addresses customers' most important workloads, such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), cloud, mobility and big data and offers a unique combination of speed, simplicity and efficiency.
The latest HP ConvergedSystem portfolio takes convergence to the next level with new versions of HP OneView and HP ConvergedSystem 700, the new HP Helion CloudSystem ConvergedSystem 200-HC, and the release of HP Verified Reference Architecture.

HP OneView, now with the power of real-time IT operational analytics
HP OneView, the industry's leading software-defined management platform, breaks down server, storage and network management silos to take simplicity and efficiency to the next level. The solution's unique infrastructure management plane and automation across physical compute, network connectivity and storage dramatically reduces management complexity to deliver infrastructure services in as few as five clicks. HP OneView's open REST API links software-defined infrastructure lifecycle automation capabilities with industry leading management solutions from HP Software, VMware and Microsoft. Customers can now provision, expand and retire physical compute and storage as one through software-defined templates. This enables customers to automate operations, reduce the risk of human error and increase operational efficiency for the most demanding workloads like databases and business critical applications.
In order to accelerate business agility, HP OneView compliments IT infrastructure management simplicity with predictive analytics capabilities. The latest release of HP OneView now has built-in HP Operations Analytics to empower customers with the tools to predict, prevent, and automate issues before they arise. Customers can expect faster problem resolution, from three days reduced to 30 minutes when using HP Operations Analytics - providing dramatic savings, higher service levels and business agility to anticipate needs ahead of demands.
To enable customers to achieve the benefits of simplicity and increased efficiency, HP is introducing HP OneView Standard license that delivers monitoring, reporting, and base management at no additional charge.
The new release also now supports HP ProLiant Gen9 rack and blade servers plus extends support to legacy Gen 6, Gen 7 and Gen 8 legacy HP ProLiant servers, enabling IT organizations to further consolidate infrastructure management with HP OneView.

Designed for business agility, the HP ConvergedSystem 700 with HP OneView can meet many customers' needs including as a powerful infrastructure platform that runs a single enterprise application or as an open and versatile platform to support a wide range of common workloads like customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications. This system delivers fast time to value with customers able to stand up new services up to 40X faster by reducing time to order, deploy and provision infrastructure.
HP ConvergedSystem 700 with HP OneView is delivered as an integrated system designed to rapidly propel customers' business forward. In addition to combining the power of compute, storage and networking components, the solution incorporates converged management with automation to radically simplify everyday tasks, reduce OPEX and improve operational agility.
HP ConvergedSystem 700 expands choice for customers with support for HP ProLiant Gen9 blade servers and open interoperability with third party top-of-rack networking. This new converged infrastructure offering also helps scale to meet changing business demands by doubling the compute and storage capacity.
The HP ConvergedSystem 700 includes HP Proactive Care support, which ensures a single point of accountability, 24/7, for all system components - including third-party software that is shipped with the system. In addition, HP ConvergedSystem customers have access to the HP Center of Excellence, which provides faster problem resolution by providing centralized support and cross-domain expertise, lowering unplanned downtime by as much as 66 percent.
An easy, open path to hybrid cloud deliver with HP Helion CloudSystem CS200-HC
The latest hyper-converged offering to the HP ConvergedSystem portfolio, HP Helion CloudSystem CS 200-HC provides customers an easy, open path to hybrid cloud delivery. Enterprises and service providers can now build and manage clouds for traditional and cloud-native workloads with simple deployment, management and support.
This news comes on the heels of a new line of hyper-converged infrastructure offerings announced in October aimed to help midsize businesses that require flexible, open architecture to simplify IT operations and transform the speed and efficiency of application service delivery. The ConvergedSystem 200-HC StoreVirtual is a scalable and highly available hyper-converged appliance that brings together simple management, powerful compute and mature data services into a single turnkey system. It is designed from the ground up to simplify virtual infrastructure from ordering, deployment, to support of business-critical apps and virtual desktops. The ConvergedSystem 200-HC EVO:RAIL appliance is a next-generation building block that consolidates compute, networking and storage resources into a single appliance to accelerate bringing new applications online. It combines HP ProLiant SL servers with VMware's proven suite of core products.
Verified Reference Architecture for HP ConvergedSystem for Enterprise Mobility
Customers can also extend HP ConvergedSystems by using infrastructure-focused and application-focused reference architectures to optimize their converged infrastructure. HP Verified Reference Architecture are designed to accelerate time to value through validated designs based on best practices. The first of these is the HP ConvergedSystem 700x for Citrix XenDesktop. It improves end-user and IT productivity for mobile workforces by generating 84 percent more IT efficiency and delivering 2X faster application access for end-users. The solution incorporates HP OneView functionality and integration with VMware vCenter to provide a familiar, single physical and virtual management console.

As part of today's announcement, HP will launch a new channel-enablement pilot program for HP Converged Systems to provide channel partners the opportunity to capitalize on the explosive market growth in integrated infrastructure.
