Stratoscale Launches New TestDrive Program

Stratoscale, the software platform for hyper-converged infrastructure, today announced its solution is being made available to customers and developers via a TestDrive program.  Interested users can go to www.stratoscale.com/testdrive to register for the program and have the choice of experiencing the Stratoscale solution on their own hardware by downloading, or making use of Stratoscale’s own cloud environment. The TestDrive program comes on the heels of Stratoscale’s recent “OpenStack Powered” announcements and is leading up to product launch later this summer.

“We are committed to delivering what the market wants and we wanted to get it out fast,” said Stratoscale founder and CEO Ariel Maislos. “Application developers, cloud architects and infrastructure managers need time to fully absorb the groundbreaking solution we have developed.  We wanted to let the world try us out even before our product launch.”

Stratoscale is the industry’s rack-scale data center operating system company with a unique software-based approach to hyper convergence. Only Stratoscale brings together all the benefits of hyper convergence in one software solution, including software defined storage, virtualization and networking. Stratoscale is using the hyper-convergence advantage to help customers seamlessly build clouds that scale from as few as four servers to thousands.

Enterprises and service providers can build private and multi-tenant public clouds taking advantage of Stratoscale’s ease of use, distributed management and rapid deployment capabilities.  The Stratoscale solution delivers OpenStack Powered interoperability and support for Docker containers out of the box.

“Test driving a hyper-converged infrastructure, or an OpenStack Powered private cloud has never been so easy,” said Patrick Guay, Stratoscale VP Sales & Marketing, “Now, with TestDrive, hyper-converged infrastructure that can easily scale and provide software defined storage, virtualization, containers and networking is accessible to anyone with a few x86 servers, and is one click away.”
