Pluribus Networks Partners With Supermicro and Red Hat
PALO ALTO, Calif., June 25 -- Pluribus Networks, the company that advances software-defined networking (SDN) through the industry’s most programmable, open source-based operating system, Netvisor, announced today that following up on its Red Hat certification announced in May 2015, it has partnered with Red Hat, Inc. and Super Micro Computer, Inc. to demonstrate the industry’s most open and scalable converged infrastructure by combining Pluribus Open Netvisor Linux (ONVL), Micro-Blade servers from Supermicro and Red Hat OpenStack. This powerful combination of best-of-breed solutions enables public and private cloud providers to quickly and cost-effectively deliver and deploy Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), allowing them to easily compete with established cloud vendors. The combination enables the industry’s most granular multi-tenancy support with comprehensive data flow-level visibility to address the need for highly secure transactions across the entire infrastructure.
