Check Point Selects Mellanox Ethernet Solutions to Enhance Security Appliances
SUNNYVALE, Calif. & YOKNEAM, Israel, June 2 -- Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: MLNX), a leading supplier of high-performance, end-to-end interconnect solutions for data center servers and storage systems, announced today that it has been selected by Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ: CHKP) to include its ConnectX-4 40Gb Ethernet adapter card in Check Point's 15000 and 23000 series of security appliances. ConnectX-4 adapters enable companies to connect their 10 GbE server uplinks to their 40 GbE core, thereby ensuring that their networks remain secure when they upgrade their data center from 10 to 40GbE. With 40GbE, Check Point can discover malicious behavior before it enters the network thanks to ConnectX-4's flexible, high-speed connection.
