MongoDB Expands OEM Partner Program to Help ISVs

NEW YORK and PALO ALTO, Calif., March 21, 2017 -- MongoDB today announced expansions to its OEM Partner Program that will make it even easier for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to embed and deploy MongoDB, build modern software, and drive business growth.

The expanded OEM Partner Program includes new design review and development support programs, flexible commercial terms that match the way ISVs sell, and certification services. These offerings ensure a smoother development process and a faster time to market for applications powered by MongoDB. New OEM partners include Beet Analytics, Reflexis, Swimlane, and Synchronoss.

"MongoDB helps ISV partners gain a competitive advantage by arming them with a modern database platform to build a new class of applications," said Dev Ittycheria, President & CEO, MongoDB. "Our partners are vital to our business. With this expanded OEM Partner Program we've created an 'on ramp' so they can quickly and efficiently embed MongoDB in their products. OEM Partners should feel confident that we back this with the right technical and commercial support to make them successful."

MongoDB provides three service offerings to our ISV partners: pre-development and pre-production check-ins, "Powered by MongoDB" certification, and development support to ensure they have everything they need to go to market. The expanded OEM Partner Program also includes commercial enterprise licenses, backline enterprise grade support, indemnification, warranty, and advanced security features such as encryption for data at rest.

David Wang, CTO of Beet Analytics, commented, "The automation systems industry is experiencing profound technology change, helping manufacturing companies become more efficient, accountable and agile than ever before. By embedding MongoDB in our data acquisition and process systems, we're able to build solutions that scale across very large manufacturing production facilities, and deliver real-time analytics even at peak loads."

Cody Cornell, founder and CEO of Swimlane, said, "Swimlane is deployed at a broad range of enterprise customers who demand solutions that can scale to fit their cyber security needs. MongoDB was a perfect choice to meet our backend requirements, facilitating extremely high write loads, massive horizontal scalability, and support for high availability across multiple geographic locations. It also meets numerous compliance and internal security requirements for FIPS-level encryption and encrypted data-at rest."

New OEM partner, Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., a global leader in managed mobility solutions for service providers and enterprise organizations, including financial, life sciences, retail and healthcare sectors, leverages MongoDB for its mobile BYOD applications. According to David Schuette, Executive Vice President, Enterprise at Synchronoss, "The Synchronoss Secure Mobility Platform enables the extended enterprise to realize the benefits of mobility, increasing productivity by making it easier for users to do more work on mobile devices. MongoDB provides the scalability, world-class support and technical expertise we required to help enable and protect our customer's valuable content in motion."

MongoDB OEM partners like Bosch, L&T Infotech, Splunk, Sage, Huawei, and IBM-Avnet have already reaped the benefits of embedding MongoDB into their software, hardware and appliances. Customer Experience Management software leaders like Sitecore and Nuxeo also integrate MongoDB into their offerings.

MongoDB's partner network includes over 1,000 leading technology, systems integrator, reseller, cloud, and ISV partners. To learn more about the MongoDB Partner Program, visit: https://www.mongodb.com/partners/partner-program
