Supermicro Announces Hearings Panel Date and Nasdaq Listing Extension 

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 5, 2018 -- Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ:SMCI) (the “Company”), a global leader in high performance, high-efficiency server, storage technology and green computing, today announced The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) granted the Company’s request for a hearing before a Nasdaq Hearings Panel (the “Panel”). The hearing will take place on April 26, 2018 at which time the Company will present its plan to regain compliance with Listing Rule 5250(c)(1) (the “Rule”), which requires timely filing of periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”). Previously, Nasdaq granted the Company an extension until March 13, 2018 to file all delinquent periodic reports.

The Company also announced that the Panel granted the Company’s request to extend the automatic 15-day stay of suspension from Nasdaq. The stay, which allows for the continued trading of the Company’s common stock on Nasdaq, will continue until a final determination regarding the Company’s listing status is issued after the April 26, 2018 hearing. The Company intends to continue to take all steps necessary to regain compliance with the Rule.
