UberCloud Wins Multiple Awards for HPC Innovation and Best Use of HPC in the Cloud
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 30, 2018 -- TheUberCloud, Inc., Cloud Simulation Platform for Engineers, announced that it has been recognized in three leading High Performance Computing (HPC) industry awards for two of its innovative engineering projects in the cloud.

2018 Hyperion HPC Innovation Excellence Award: UberCloud and its project partners, PBBL Law, Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, and Microsoft Azure won the 2018 Hyperion HPC Innovation Excellence Award for helping PBBL Law with first-time HPC Cloud in winning a lawsuit against the builder of residential condominium towers. These annual awards recognize noteworthy achievements made by users and vendors using High Performance Computing (HPC) technologies. 2018 Hyperion HPC Innovation Excellence Award: UberCloud and its project partners, the National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences NIMHANS in Bangalore, Dassault Systemes SIMULIA, Advania Data Centers, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Intel won the 2018 Hyperion HPC Innovation Excellence Award for their Neuromodulation Project, based on computer simulations of non-invasive transcranial electro-stimulation of the human brain in schizophrenia.
2018 HPCwire Editors’ Choice Award for Best Use of HPC in the Cloud: UberCloud and its project partners, PBBL Law, Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, and Microsoft Azure won this HPCwire Award for helping PBBL Law with first-time HPC Cloud in winning a lawsuit against the builder of residential condominium towers.
